We recommend that you contact your insurance company prior to your appointment in order to clarify your deductible, co-payment, and coverage for an office visit and manipulative treatment. Please bring your insurance card to your appointment. Please call our office if you have a question regarding your plan.

If you have an HMO type of insurance, you are responsible for contacting your primary care physician for a referral. The referral must be in place prior to an appointment.

Please note: Any amount not covered by insurance for whatever reason may be owed by the patient to Bellingham Osteopathic Center. It can take 3-10 weeks for us to hear back from your insurance. Co-payments need to be paid at the time of service. There are some insurance companies that will not pay for types of treatment modalities if they are performed on the same day, for example, physical therapy, chiropractic, and therapeutic massage. We urge you not to schedule other appointments of this type on the same day as your appointment at our office.
If your injury is the result of a motor vehicle accident, we will need you to bring your own motor vehicle insurance information to your first appointment as well as your claim number and contact information for the claim.

We welcome our Northern neighbors to receive treatment at our medical practice. Although we can’t process Canadian medical plans, we do accept all credit cards and American currency. Please call if you have questions about our rates and fees.
